About me
Hi, my name is Alexander Teplukhin (Alex) and I am interested in scientific research and software engineering.
I have a strong background in STEM, particularly, in fundamental science, physics, quantum chemistry, molecular modeling and mathematics. I have BS and MS degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (GPA 3.9) and PhD in Chemistry from Marquette University (GPA 4.0). At present, I am a Visual Computing Solutions Architect at Intel. My academic achievements include:

Beside my scientific interests, I love coding and devote all my free time to it, see my portfolio. Since my childhood, I have been gaining experience in different areas of software development, including visualization (DirectX, OpenGL and Vulkan), desktop (Win32, .NET Framework, GLFW) and mobile development (J2ME, Android, iOS). In my PhD, I got a broad experience in high performance computing, writing a sophisticated parallel Fortran programs and using different numerical libraries, like MKL and ACML.
